North Water: Elevating Taste

Putting some clear blue water between ourselves and the other brands.

Context

When you've sourced some of the most premium water from the Canadian Rockies, you need to build the right brand around it. We wanted to get to the essence of North Water by digging into its quality credentials as well as the ethos and spirit of the Canadian Rocky Mountains. A water brand that matched the rugged beauty and pristine nature of the Canadian north.

Insight

To highlight the essence of North Water, our design had to express the rugged beauty, pristine nature and free spirit of the Canadian Rockies.

Execution

Simplicity, restraint and focus are things all luxury brands share. With North Water, we were no different. We also understood the badge value of the bottle — how the aesthetics, beauty, and simplicity can give the bottle holder an elevated feeling of status to go with the purity of the drops inside. Design, like the water, was a study in “less is more” as we embraced the colours of glacial ice and gave the iconic maple leaf a water-inspired evolution.
